Data Cabling
We repair, design, install, maintain & test structured cabling networks

The backbone of any modern business is the network that connects your business's internal digital equipment and your business to the outside world. We specialise in the design of network architecture that will allow your business to adapt and grow with new technologies. We offer a range of cabling technologies and hardware that allow us to design a reliable network infrastructure tailored to your business needs.
All our copper cabling is backed by a 25-year manufacturer's warranty. We offer full test documentation for all installations showing real world test results that simulate the network under real conditions. Enabled Technologies offers a full range of network cabling services including:

In today’s rapidly evolving digital world it is critical that your organisation's structured cabling be ready to handle your mission critical needs today and the future growth of tomorrow.
Fibre optics
We supply and install optical fibre cabling. We have the latest in fusion splicing equipment and test equipment. We terminate, test and repair fibre optic cabling for other companies and contractors which requires our expertise as qualified fibre optic installers.
We offer a range of termination options, including, but not limited to ST, SC and LC, depending on your system requirements. With high density LC panels, up to 96 terminations can fit in a single tray, perfectly suited to data centre applications.

OS1 and OS2 Single Mode

Generally used to link buildings, factory units, remote-monitoring stations or for long distances. Once an expensive alternative, we are finding that as technology improves and becomes more commercially available, single mode optical fibre cabling is becoming more affordable and attractive even in relatively short distances, using ever-improving laser technology using a wavelength of 1310nm or 1550nm.

OM1, 2, 3 and OM4 Multi Mode

OM1 and OM2 have long been used for Ethernet cabling, with speeds ranging from 10 Mbit/s to Gigabit Ethernet 1 (Gbit/s) and are ideal for use with LED transmitters. New fibre optic installations are mainly utilizing Laser transmitters and OM3 and OM4 cabling. OM3 can provide 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10Gbit/s) at distances of up to 300 meters operating at 850nm and 1300nm. OM4 can provide 10 Gigabit at distances of up to 400 meters and 40Gigabit at up to 150 meters.
Fibre to the desk
In certain applications, we have installed fibre optic cabling, especially OM3 and OM4, directly to the desk. This enables speeds of up to 10-40 Gbit/s for high speed data transfer. This is particularly useful in high-end graphics and 3D rendering.
We will fit your comms room or data centre with the right equipment to keep your cables organised
